We work one-on-one with great candidates to help connect them with local employment opportunities. We are seeking candidates for CNC Machinist roles on the Weekend Overnight Shift - Friday-Sunday 5:00pm-5:00am and on the Weekday Overnight Shift – Monday – Thursday 5:00pm-5:00am. What you’ll do as the CNC Machinist:
- Perform complex setups and operate mill, lathe, and/or router to machine flat and formed parts to inch and metric specifications
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Evaluate and justify new tooling and machining processes
- Work from schedules, shop orders, established procedures, blueprints, and specifications to identify deviations that can potentially interrupt productivity
- Maintain logs and other necessary documents
- Determine the sequence of operations when necessary
- Perform the first article of inspection when necessary
- Assist others with machining problems
What you need to be a CNC Machinist:
- Must have verbal and written communication skills in English
- Must have experience programing, operating, and setting up a CNC machine in the last year
- Must have at least 6 years of manufacturing experience in the last year
- Must be able to train on 1st shift for 2-3 weeks
- Ability to handle fragile products, perform repetitive tasks, and demonstrate safety awareness
- Solid understanding of related mechanics, flow control elements, and MRP concepts
- Visual acuity and manual dexterity
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
