What You’ll Do as a Shop Assistant:
- Clean and maintain the shop and equipment
- Perform basic repairs, fuel and detail vehicles, and report required maintenance
- Load and unload trailers and assist with inventory
- Organize outdoor areas and support landscaping/snow removal as needed
- Transport materials and equipment with a company vehicle
- Complete weekly equipment checklists and support safety audits
- Follow all company safety protocols and work rules
What You Need to Bring to the Shop Assistant Role:
- Knowledge of basic vehicle and equipment maintenance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Good teamwork, communication, and reliability
- Ability to use basic computers and review manuals as needed
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
- Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends when required
