What You'll Do as a Production Assembler:
- Assemble plastic putty knives in multiple sizes
- Attach steel knives to handles using a universal stamping machine with two‑hand control
- Apply labels to knives and handle components
- Use the Vandorn machine to place caps on putty knife ends
- Operate Clark forklifts to move materials as needed
- Use the Little David machine to tape boxes shut
- Operate a Universal Labeling system equipped with a safety light curtain
- Ability to operate forklifts and production machinery safely
- Strong attention to detail for accurate assembly and labeling
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and workplace regulations
- Reliable transportation to the Sacred Heart area
- Ability to pass pre‑employment screenings if required
