We are seeking candidates for Brake Press Operator roles on the day shift. Compensation for these temp opportunities ranges between $21.00-$27.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. What you will do as a Brake Press Operator:

What you will do as a Brake Press Operator:
- Operate press brake, shear, pem, and hand roller machines
- Bend and form complex metal parts with precision
- Read and follow blueprints, job packets, and layouts
- Set up machines with correct tools and procedures
- Perform quality checks and mark prints for future jobs
- Maintain accurate inventory and organize parts
- Identify and suggest improvements in the fabrication area
- Train and mentor helpers and junior operators
- Perform basic machine maintenance and report larger issues
- Log job time in Epicor system
- Communicate effectively with team and managers
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Trade school degree (2 years) + 5 years of fabrication experience (or equivalent mix)
- Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
- Plan and execute tasks independently
- Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift/push/pull 25+ pounds regularly with or without reasonable accommodations
- Knowledge of inspection procedures and safety rules
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Ability to lead and support team members
