What you will do as a Welder:

What you will do as a Welder:
- Weld metal parts using MIG/TIG methods
- Follow blueprints, layouts, and job instructions
- Use jigs and fixtures to assist with assembly
- Perform basic machine maintenance and report larger issues
- Keep accurate inventory and organize parts properly
- Identify and suggest improvements in the welding area
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
- Welding trade school (2 years) + 2 years of welding experience (or equivalent mix of education and experience)
- Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
- Plan and execute welding tasks independently
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication (verbal and written)
- Understand safety rules and prevent unsafe setups
- Ability to lift/push/pull 25+ pounds regularly with or without reasonable accommodations
- Knowledge of inspection procedures and welding layouts
