Job Description
Looking for a new opportunity in the Osseo area? Don’t miss out on this role! Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading building materials supplier located in Osseo, WI. We are seeking candidates for Machine Operator roles on the 2nd shift. Hours or this shift are from 3:00pm-1:00am, Monday through Thursday. What you will do as a Machine Operator:

What you will do as a Machine Operator:
- Understand and adhere to the production, quality and safety expectations of the job
- Set up and operate equipment to produce assigned products
- Catch/stack parts after performing all necessary operations on the product from the machine
- Retrieve and prepare necessary raw materials, tools and supplies for production
- Ensure materials are utilized efficiently with minimal scrap or waste
- Assist Material Handlers with movement of raw, WIP and finished materials
- Use ERP system to execute assigned jobs and record/report production data and outcomes
- Read and interpret routing and print documentation to ensure quality standards are met
- Manual sanding and assembly of products within the cell
- May perform other duties as assigned
- High school degree or equivalent
- Previous experience working with industrial machinery producing products or in a manufacturing environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong math skills including English and metric measurements, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, conversions and counting
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Familiarity with reading blueprints and CAD drawings
- Familiarity with ERP and/or MES systems, operating computers and scanning devices
- Ability to stand for 8-10 hours per day on concrete floors with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Must be able to bend, twist, push, pull, crouch, kneel, stoop and lift 90% of the workday with or without reasonable accommodations #NEjobhunt
