What You'll Do as a Wind Turbine Assembler:
- Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
- Assemble components using both hand tools and power tools
- Interpret schematics, drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate assembly
- Follow processes, work instructions, and shop standards to maintain proper assembly sequence and quality
- Meet production standards within designated timeframes
- Handle materials using jib cranes, forklifts, and overhead cranes
- Test, inspect, and complete required quality and customer documentation
- Collaborate with Wind Team members to assemble the final product
What You Need to Bring to the Wind Turbine Assembler Role:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent manufacturing experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Familiarity with standard power tools and hand tools
- Ability to obtain certification for overhead crane, jib crane, and forklift operation
- Ability to communicate effectively and work in small teams
- Ability to read and follow written instructions in English
- Ability to routinely lift/move up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to work in various physical positions, including climbing, confined spaces, and prolonged standing/sitting.
