What you’ll do as the Maintenance Project Coordinator:
  • Lead and implement engineering projects focused on safety and food safety improvements
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables; allocate resources and manage timelines
  • Monitor project performance including budget, milestones, and compliance
  • Conduct contractor orientations and ensure expectations are met
  • Drive startup success metrics (OEE, scrap, quality, maintenance cost)
  • Present progress reports and solutions to stakeholders
  • Champion change management and continuous improvement processes
  • Support plant maintenance initiatives including downtime analysis and scrap reduction
  • Actively participate in the plant safety team (SRMP)
  • Ensure food safety and quality standards are upheld at all times
What you need to be the Maintenance Project Coordinator:
  • Associate’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business Management, or related technical field
  • 2–3 years of experience in industrial or plant operations, maintenance, or utilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS systems (SAP preferred)
  • Experience with AutoCAD and MS Project
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills; electrical troubleshooting a plus
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics, and piping diagrams
  • Familiarity with PLCs, networking devices, and Allen-Bradley systems
