Join an industry-leading company! Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading company in Hutchinson, MN. We are seeking candidates for a Direct Hire CNC Machinist roles on 2nd shift (2pm-12am Mon thru Thursday). Compensation for these opportunities is between $30.00 to $32.00 per hour depending on experience. Interested? Read below for more information!
What a CNC Machinist will do:

What a CNC Machinist will do:
- Follow setup instructions and pass-down information provided directly by the first shift supervisor
- Keep two to three CNC machines running during the evening shift after day shift leaves
- Monitor, load, and maintain production on assigned machines with a focus on VMCs, specifically machines running: HAAS, Matsuura, FANUC robodrill
- Ensure consistent part quality by following established processes and checking in-process work as needed
- Communicate any issues, downtime, or quality concerns to the first shift supervisor or lead
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area throughout the shift
- Must have 1–3 years of experience as a machinist doing programming and set-up of CNC machines
- Must have CNC experience and experience using Camworks and/or MasterCam software within the last 5 years
- Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings and prints
- Must have a strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Must have strong attention to detail and commitment to high production quality
- Must be ability to work efficiently and independantly
- Must have written and verbal communication skills in English
- Must be willingness to work within strict Safety, Quality, and Efficiency standards
- Must have strong listening, learning, and teamwork skills
