What You'll Do as a CNC Press Brake Operator:
- Operate CNC press brake machines to produce aluminum parts according to specifications and drawings
- Read and interpret blueprints, setup sheets, and work instructions to ensure accurate fabrication
- Adjust machine settings and tooling to maintain precision, consistency, and product quality
- Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and conformance to quality standards
- Perform routine machine checks and basic maintenance
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Meet production goals while ensuring high-quality output
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of experience operating CNC equipment or working in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to adjust tooling and machine settings
- Basic math skills and ability to use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, squares, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and lift up to 70 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a manufacturing environment
