In this role, you’ll support production design, process improvements, and manufacturing efficiency initiatives while collaborating across engineering, quality, and operations teams. What You'll Do as a Manufacturing Engineer:
- Provide manufacturing engineering support for product design, production, cost reduction, and operational improvements
- Evaluate and improve existing manufacturing processes and subsystems
- Support new product and maintenance introductions into production
- Design and implement tooling, fixtures, gauges, and work instructions
- Assist in developing manufacturing layouts, equipment specifications, and process documentation
- Support capital equipment justification, acquisition, and installation
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment
- Experience with CNC machining, machining processes, and assembly operations
- Strong understanding of manufacturing documentation, tooling, and process development
- Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks 3D modeling preferred)
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
