We are seeking candidates for Fabricating Machine Operator roles on the 1st shift. The schedule for this position is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am – 4:30 pm. What you’ll do as a Fabrication Machine Operator:
- Strictly follow safety policies, procedures, rules and safe work methods, along with making safety suggestions to support continuous improvements in safety
- Set up a variety of machines to cut, drill, punch and grind a variety of aluminum parts, preparing them for welding or as finished products
- Work cooperatively with others to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets
- Properly fill out work orders
- Move parts to various areas as required
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace
- Contribute to a continuous improvement culture
- Forklift certification
- Ability to read and follow blueprints
- Ability to properly read and use a tape measure
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Knowledge of and ability to use drill press, tumblers, and benders
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally with or without reasonable accommodations
