Location: Faribault, MN
Compensation: $20.00 per hour – paid weekly
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Thursday | 5am - 3:30pm
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire | Full-time

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Electromechanical Assemblers for a power distribution equipment manufacturer in Faribault, MN. In this role, you’ll help assemble, wire, and test electrical loadbank units according to customer specifications. If you enjoy hands-on electrical/mechanical work, using tools, and building high‑quality products, this opportunity offers long-term stability and weekly pay.
What You’ll Do as an Electromechanical Assembler:
- Assemble components according to prints, including mounting parts and performing wiring and OHM testing
- Read and interpret BOMs, schematics, engineering drawings, and work instructions
- Complete in-process quality checks and escalate non‑conforming issues
- Follow work orders and produce assemblies that meet quantity and quality standards
- Use hand and power tools to build electrical and mechanical assemblies
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Complete all required production documentation
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned
What You Need to Bring to the Electromechanical Assembler Role:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read instructions and visually inspect assembled parts
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform regular standing, bending, and movement
- Good hand dexterity and grip strength
- Ability to interpret diagrams/schematics (preferred
- Wiring experience (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work well with a team
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and/or physical, if required
