About the Opportunity
Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Production Operators for a leading manufacturing company in Chanhassen, MN. In this role, you’ll help operate production equipment, package finished goods, and support a safe, efficient manufacturing environment. If you enjoy hands-on work, working with machinery, and being part of a collaborative production team, this may be a great opportunity for you!
What You'll Do as the Production Operator:
- Operate assembly, labeling, filling, or blister machines
- Package products, palletize finished goods, and move materials as needed
- Perform quality checks on raw materials and finished products
- Report equipment or material issues to the appropriate personnel
- Follow SOPs, safety guidelines, and work instructions
- Complete routine cleaning and minor maintenance on equipment
- Record production data and material usage using a computer
- Wear required PPE and follow all safety protocols
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand for up to 90% of an 8‑hour shift
- Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodations
- Basic math skills and ability to use a calculator
- Ability to read, write, and follow written instructions in English
- Familiarity with basic computer operation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Willingness to work occasional overtime, including weekends
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred, but entry-level candidates are welcome
- Reliable transportation to the Chanhassen area
