What You'll Do as an Assembler:
- Assemble quality sub-assemblies or products efficiently per internal training and work instructions/prints using hand and power tools
- Reference orders and print designs to select appropriate parts for assembly; inspect parts for defects
- Review orders, perform inspections, and complete assembly checklists after building unit(s)
- Ensure accessory items are included with products prior to release for quality inspection and packing/shipping
- Complete required training and follow quality procedures to meet regulatory and quality standards
- Notify Quality Assurance immediately of any nonconforming product or material
- Report inventory shortages in advance of depletion
- Notify supervisor or line lead when work is completed and additional work is needed
- Operate pallet jacks, electric pallet lifts, and adjustable tables as required
- Stop production if any defect or process impacts product quality
- Maintain productivity standards and accurately enter data using tablets or digital tools
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, and interpret documents and prints in English
- Digital literacy, including use of tablets, computers, email, timekeeping, and online learning tools
- Knowledge of hand and power tools and ability to operate equipment safely
- Ability to meet attendance and scheduling expectations
- Strong attention to quality and accuracy
- Must be team-oriented and willing to assist where needed #BurnetAssembly
