Job Description
Looking for a weekend shift opportunity? Don’t miss this! Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading manufacturing company in Audubon, MN. We work one-on-one with great candidates to help connect them with local employment opportunities. We are seeking candidates for Machine Operator roles on a variety of shifts. Compensation for these contract opportunities is $18.00-$24.00 per hour, depending on shift and experience. Interested? Read below for more information!
What you’ll do as the Machine Operator:

What you’ll do as the Machine Operator:
- Ensure a safe work environment for self and others
- Follow all safety rules and regulations
- Review and follow work instruction, management system procedures and standard operating documents
- Run CNC and manual machines, and handheld tools
- Inspect parts and identify defects and non-conformities
- Consistently and accurately complete all related paperwork/documentation
- Monitor fluids in machine and coolant flow in machine
- Utilize the 5-S principles (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, and sustain) to maintain an orderly, clean and safe work area
- Produce parts that meet the Company’s quality standards
- Actively participate in events to improve the safety, quality, and efficiencies of our current processes and procedures
- Work at a consistent and steady pace, be prepared to work each day, and report to assigned work center in a punctual manner
- High school diploma or GED
- Manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Basic math skills, must have a working knowledge of decimals
- Ability to read measuring instruments and work instructions
- Must be detail oriented, with the ability to recognize defects and non-conformities
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Ability to safely operate a forklift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
