Location: Albert Lea, MN
Compensation: $24.00–$30.00 per hour – paid weekly
Schedule: 1st shift | Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–3:00 PM
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire | Full-time

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Fabrication Quality Inspectors for a manufacturing and fabrication company in Albert Lea, MN. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring high-quality fabricated components by inspecting parts, verifying specifications, and supporting ISO 9001 quality processes. If you enjoy hands-on inspection work, using precision measuring tools, and working in a production environment with strong quality standards, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Do as a Fabrication Quality Inspector:
- Inspect fabricated components to ensure compliance with blueprints, engineering specifications, and quality standards
- Perform first article, first piece, and in-process inspections
- Use variable and attribute measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances
- Complete inspection records, ISIR documentation, and quality paperwork
- Support SPC data collection, gage R&R, and process capability studies
- Audit outgoing inspections and assist with specification audits
- Assist with ISO 9001 processes, procedures, and continuous improvement efforts
What You Need to Bring to the Fabrication Quality Inspector Role:
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for up to 12-hour shifts
- Ability to lift up to 15 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs frequently
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001 quality processes and procedures
- Experience using measuring tools and inspection equipment
- Math skills including fractions, decimals, and metric/English conversions
- Ability to operate an overhead hoist or crane for part movement
- Comfortable working around moving machinery and in a manufacturing environment
- Willingness to work overtime during busy production periods
- Ability to train and support new inspectors as needed
