Job Description
Join a fast-growing precision manufacturing team where you’ll play a hands-on role in developing, optimizing, and validating advanced manufacturing processes. The Manufacturing Engineer role will focus on new equipment setup, product transfers across Swiss, mill-turn, EDM, laser, and precision grinding operations located near Circle Pines, MN. You’ll have the opportunity to directly influence process efficiency, product quality, and the expansion of manufacturing capabilities into a new facility. The salary range is between $100K-$135K with a 10% bonus.

- Lead technical setup for new equipment and transferred processes, ensuring smooth transitions and optimal performance.
- Develop, implement, and refine high-precision manufacturing processes for Swiss, mill-turn, EDM, laser, and grinding operations.
- Support product transfers, including SKU transitions, change notifications, and process qualification
- Troubleshoot complex manufacturing and equipment issues, identifying improvements that enhance quality, efficiency, and scalability.
- Participate in prototyping, low-volume production runs, and the introduction of new technologies to expand capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 4–5 years of hands-on mechanical or manufacturing engineering experience in a regulated industry or contract manufacturing
- Proficient with precision machining (Swiss, mill-turn, EDM) and finishing operations (electropolishing, deburring, laser processing).
- Experience with IQ/OQ validation and new equipment setup.
- CAD proficiency (SolidWorks, Mastercam, or similar) and ERP/MRP system experience.
- Exposure to multi-site product transfers or facility expansions.
- Experience with advanced processes such as laser welding, precision grinding, or complex machining setups.
