Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Maintenance Technicians for a leading manufacturing company located in Sacred Heart, MN. This position performs routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting equipment in a manufacturing environment. Hours for this position are on 1st shift (5:45 am - 4:15 pm, Monday-Thursday) and compensation ranges between $18.00-$23.00 per hour with performance-based pay increases available at 2 months, 6 months, and 1 year based on attendance, productivity, and overall job performance. What You'll Do as a Maintenance Technician:
- Perform highly diversified duties from installation to maintaining machines and plant equipment including emergency repairs as needed
- Possesses skills including, but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and blue prints to perform required maintenance and service.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles to maintain an organized, efficient workspace
- Work across various production areas as needed, demonstrating flexibility and initiative
- Solve problems independently to support production goals
- Must have at least 6 months experience in any of the fields listed; construction, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, and/or machining within the last 2 years
- Must have a High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have Strong work ethic and self-motivated attitude
- Must have solid time management and multitasking abilities
- Must have written and verbal communication skills in English
- Must have ability to perform physically demanding tasks and getting hands-on in production
