What you will do as a Maintenance Technician:
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery issues to minimize downtime and ensure production continuity
- Conduct facility maintenance including lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and general building repairs
- Inspect and test equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards
- Document all maintenance work performed, including parts used and time spent
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues
- Assist in equipment installations, relocations, and modifications as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and storage areas
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and participate in safety initiatives
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or trade school training preferred
- 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with tools and equipment including welders, grinders, hoists, power tools, and diagnostic instruments
- Basic knowledge of PLCs, control panels, and motor controls is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and equipment manual
