In this role, you’ll help maintain and repair equipment in one of the industry’s largest and most advanced freeze-drying facilities. What You’ll Do as a Maintenance Technician:
- Inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair
- Troubleshoot equipment issues to determine necessary repairs
- Plan repairs according to work orders and preventative/predictive maintenance schedules
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment, utility, and facility systems
- Maintain electrical and PLC/Controls systems
- Inspect facilities and grounds for needed repairs
- Order supplies and materials for repairs and maintenance
- Perform basic maintenance and operation of HVAC systems
- Follow Lock-Out-Tag-Out and all safety procedures
- 3–5+ years of experience in a manufacturing/production facility
- Special Engineer class Boiler License or willingness to obtain
- Electrical/PLC/Controls knowledge and experience
- Willingness to obtain Industrial Ammonia Refrigeration certificate
- Ability to read and understand manuals, drawings, and P&ID documents
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Forklift certification and experience or willingness to obtain
