In this role, you’ll support production by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment while working in a hands-on, technical environment. What You’ll Do as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic:
- Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) and repair industrial machinery and facility equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues with minimal supervision
- Install, maintain, and upgrade manufacturing equipment and systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and mechanical diagrams
- Perform fabrication work including MIG/TIG welding, cutting, and machining
- Assist outside contractors with equipment installation and repairs
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety procedures
What You Need to Bring to the Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Role:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2 years of technical training plus 4 years of industrial maintenance experience OR 8 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read, write, and understand work instructions in English
- Experience using power tools, meters, and shop equipment
- Ability to safely operate forklifts and scissor lifts
- Flexibility in work hours and participation in on-call rotation
- Ability to work independently and maintain positive working relationships
