Maintenance Manager
Job Description
What you will do as the Maintenance Manager:
- Develop and sustain the maintenance organizations goals, improvement plans, and strategies to support business objectives
- Drive maintenance and reliability initiatives focused on preventive and predictive maintenance versus reactive
- Manage, maintain, and establish maintenance procedures for production lines in a food manufacturing environment
- Implement planning and scheduling best practices to manage and execute site maintenance and communicate the highest priority needs to the maintenance team to ensure timely and efficient completion
- Schedule preventative maintenance and repairs to minimize impact to operations utilizing effective coordination
- Lead to ensure alignment of all personnel placed under their charge to perform all maintenance activities for site assets
- Schedule outside contractors for completion of repairs, preventative maintenance, and upgrades
- Ensure maintenance work is performed in compliance with safety, health, and regulatory requirements utilizing eMaint CMMS software
- Lead and implement process improvements and machine efficiencies
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of the wastewater treatment system
- Manage inventory of materials and parts
- Promote personal and company image throughout the community
What you need to be a Maintenance Manager:
- 5+ years of maintenance management-related experience, preferably in a food-grade facility
- Experience implementing, editing and training on CMMS
- Experience with plant expansions and capital projects
- Experience partnering and supporting engineering
