Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring weekend shift Machine Operators for a leading manufacturing company in Osakis, MN. In this role, you’ll help produce high quality machined parts while working with modern equipment and a supportive production team. If you enjoy hands-on work, solving machine challenges, and want reliable hours with weekly pay, this could be an excellent opportunity.
What You’ll Do as a Machine Operator:
- Observe machine operations, detect malfunctions, and make adjustments as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Measure and mark materials to guide machining steps
- Select, align, and secure fixtures, cutting tools, and accessories
- Set machine controls to regulate speed, feed, coolant, and depth of cut
- Perform trial runs to verify accuracy of machine settings
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to resolve machining or assembly issues
What You Need to Bring to the Machine Operator Role:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (2-year machining degree preferred)
- 1+ years of machining or machine operation experience
- Familiarity with CMM, GD&T, and SPC
- Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and depth micrometers
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally with or without reasonable accommodation
- Reliable transportation to Osakis, MN #IchorHiringEvent
