What You'll Do as a Machine Mill Operator:
- Maintain assigned work areas at the highest possible cleanliness and organized level
- Operate and maintain the production line equipment in the absence of the Operator II
- Load and unload tandem trucks at elevators or storage sites
- Learn and assist in the training of all employees assigned to department daily, as well as Operator II responsibilities
- Monitor rolling stock and storage sites for accurate and status of bins and grain handling equipment
- Bag 25–50-pound bags of sunflower product on a continuous basis
- Ensure all assigned paperwork is completed correctly daily
- Maintain a high level of personal and environmental safety
- Maintain and promote communication between all departments and management
- High School diploma or GED
- Previous food industry experience
- Knowledge of GMP work environment
- Ability to communicate with customers clearly and concisely, both verbal and written
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Proficiency in basic math and computer skills
- Working knowledge of following equipment: Electronic Color Sorter, Gravities, Destoner, Electronic Scales, Package Filling Equipment, Sewing Machines, Computer #worknow
