Job Description

We are seeking candidates for Lamination Technician roles on the 1st shift and 2nd shift. What you will do as a Lamination Technician:

What you will do as a Lamination Technician:
- Assist in spraying and milling of gelcoat in spray booth
- Assist in spraying of resin and rolling out fiberglass material in spray booth
- Follow lamination build instructions from Engineering
- Select precut fiberglass and core kits assigned to part being vacuum formed
- Assist in the layout of all required material, following work instructions given
- Mixing of catalyst, resin, and/or gel coat per manufacturer's specifications
- Assist in the vacuum infusion of resin
- Assist in the monitoring of vacuum pressure, lines, and clamps while infusion of resin is in process
- Continually strive to meet or exceed company’s standard work
- Continually practice safe work habits and maintain a safe and clean work environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior knowledge or experience in any of the duties or responsibilities mentioned above
- Strong time management skills
- Read and understand basic work instructions
- Ability to cross-train in various departments
- Be able to stand, bend, squat, twist, or bend for 10 hours
- Pass dust and respirator fit testing (requires being clean-shaven)
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
