What You’ll Do as an Inside Sales Representative:
- Engage with customers and prospects to identify needs and recommend products and solutions
- Support outside sales representatives with order management and customer service
- Maintain knowledge of lumber and home improvement products
- Manage customer accounts including inquiries, order processing, returns/credits, and open orders
- Provide guidance on small-scale construction projects such as decks, garages, windows, and doors
- Assist with daily store or yard operations as needed
- Deliver a professional and positive customer experience
What You Need to Bring to the Inside Sales Representative Role:
- High school diploma or equivalent required (post-secondary education in construction/design preferred)
- 1–3 years of sales or sales support experience (building materials preferred)
- Strong math skills, including construction calculations and pricing
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds (up to 75 pounds infrequently)
- Valid driver’s license preferred #IndeedNorth
