What You'll Do as the Industrial Painter:
- Apply coatings to parts according to manufacturer specifications
- Maintain and clean spray equipment to ensure proper operation
- Mix paint and coatings to required formulations
- Perform routine paint booth maintenance and upkeep
- Operate overhead cranes to move materials and parts
- Assist Paint Lead with daily painting operations and tasks
- Prepare surfaces and materials for painting processes
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures during painting activities
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Demonstrate experience with industrial painting processes preferred
- Utilize basic computer skills for job-related tasks
- Work effectively both independently and within a team environment
- Perform tasks with minimal supervision and maintain productivity
- Tolerate exposure to paint fumes and industrial chemicals
- Perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, and overhead reaching
- Wear required personal protective equipment and follow safety protocols
