Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Industrial Cleaner workers for a manufacturing/warehouse facility in Detroit Lakes, MN. In this role, you’ll help maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary plant environment while supporting ongoing facility operations. If you enjoy hands-on, active work and want a stable temp-to-hire opportunity with weekly pay, this job could be an excellent fit.
What You’ll Do as an Industrial Cleaner:
- Clean and maintain production, warehouse, office, and restroom spaces
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and operate floor-cleaning equipment
- Remove debris and trash throughout the building
- Clean dust, oil, and grease from machinery, overhead pipes, conveyors, and equipment
- Use compressed air for dust blowdowns
- Perform seasonal snow removal
- Complete daily cleaning logs and documentation
- Assist production lines as needed
- Receive grain trucks and complete testing/receiving paperwork
- Maintain fogging equipment and chemical/SDS documentation
What You Need to Bring to the Industrial Cleaner Role:
- Ability to stand or walk for 10+ hours per shift
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to bend, kneel, climb stairs and ladders
- Ability to work in dusty environments and varying temperatures
- Ability to read signs/labels and follow safety instructions
- Basic math and recordkeeping skills
- Reliable transportation to the Detroit Lakes area
- Ability to pass applicable pre-employment screenings
- Entry-level welcome — no experience required
