What You'll Do as a Grinder:
- Operate grinding machines to shape and finish metal parts
- Sand, buff, and polish metal surfaces to achieve required finishes
- Remove imperfections and prepare parts for further processing or assembly
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality and specification standards
- Adjust tools and processes to maintain precision and product quality
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules
- Support overall production processes as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrate ability to operate hand grinders and metal finishing tools preferred
- Follow safety procedures in a manufacturing environment
- Lift and handle materials up to 50 pounds
- Work effectively in a team environment
- Communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors
