What You’ll Do as a Grinder:
- Rise and squeegee chucks off
- Use air chuck to dry blades
- Load blades onto the chuck
- Measure blades with micrometer
- Read and interpret work orders
- Ensure proper safety equipment is worn
- Grease machines daily
- Perform other duties as assigned or required
- High school diploma or GED
- Familiarity with cutlery racks, mesh baskets, and trays
- Knowledge of basic math
- Knowledge of quality control standards
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good manual dexterity
