What You'll Do as the Janitor:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and safe facility environment
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in common areas, offices, and restrooms
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners throughout the facility
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, and fixtures
- Restock restroom supplies (paper towels, soap, toilet paper)
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the Facilities & Maintenance Technician
- Follow all safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals according to guidelines
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods
- Reliable and punctual with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety standards
- Must be available for the full duration of the assignment (3–5 months)
