What You'll Do as a Forklift Operator – 2nd Shift:
- Operate powered industrial forklifts to move, stack, and organize products throughout the warehouse
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently using scanning equipment
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues as needed
- Maintain accurate inventory records and identify damaged or missing products
- Keep shipping, receiving, and warehouse areas clean and organized
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse operating guidelines
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet productivity goals
What You Need to Bring to the Forklift Operator – 2nd Shift Role:
- Ability to obtain forklift certification (training provided)
- Previous forklift operation experience preferred, including RF/SAP scanning equipment
- Ability to read, write, perform basic math, and follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and work in a warehouse environment throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work overtime and occasional Saturdays during peak season
