What You’ll Do as a Warehouse Forklift Operator:
- Load and unload trucks using a sit-down propane forklift, pallet jack, or hand truck
- Sort and store freight in the correct location
- Check and record cargo conditions; accept or refuse shipments as needed
- Enter receiving information into computer systems and label shipments
- Ensure shipments include proper documentation
- Assist with general warehouse upkeep (sweeping, organizing, storing equipment)
- Follow all safety rules and procedures
What You Need to Bring to the Warehouse Forklift Operator Role:
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years operating a sit-down propane forklift (double‑stacking required)
- 3+ years in an industrial environment; recycling industry experience a plus
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines
- Basic math and computer skills
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
- Valid driver’s license preferred
