Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and reliable Food Production workers on 1st shift. Hours for these are 6:00 am-4:30 pm on a Monday-Thursday schedule. Compensation for 1st shift is $17.00 per hour. In this role, you will be responsible for manually packing finished pasta and noodle products, inspecting quality, and ensuring packaging meets company and customer standards. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are essential. Aceptamos hablantes de español! Key Responsibilities:- Pack pasta and noodle products into boxes or containers according to company specifications.- Assist with loading and unloading materials, including handling cases of product and raw materials.- Inspect products for quality, ensuring proper weight, shape, and packaging integrity.- Label, seal, and stack packaged goods for shipment or storage.- Lift and move products or materials weighing between 30-35 lbs regularly, and up to 50 lbs on occasion.- Follow all safety protocols when working around moving machinery, forklifts, and potential dust.- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) at all times to ensure product consistency and safety.- Maintain a clean and organized work area to comply with food safety and sanitation standards. Requirements:- Ability to stand and work 10-hour shifts (days or nights)- Ability to consistently lift 30-35 lbs and up to 50 lbs occasionally with or without reasonable accommodations.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high product quality.- Knowledge of or willingness to learn Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift, and work in varying environmental conditions (dust, noise, etc.).- Basic problem-solving skills and ability to follow instructions.
