What You'll Do as the Folding & Gluing Operator:
- Set up and operate folding and gluing machines according to job specifications
- Adjust machine settings to ensure proper folding, gluing, and product alignment
- Monitor machine performance and product quality during production runs
- Inspect finished products for defects, glue integrity, and overall quality
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues; notify supervision when needed
- Complete production, quality, and downtime documentation accurately
- Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area
- Follow job tickets, work instructions, and production schedules
- Communicate production, quality, or equipment issues to supervision
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Properly use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Operate folding and gluing equipment safely and only as trained
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Must have previous folding and gluing, converting, or manufacturing experience
- Must be able to read job tickets, measurements, and specifications
- Must have mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods
