Schedule: 3rd shift | Monday–Friday | 11:00pm–7:00am

What You’ll Do as an Extrusion Operator
- Monitor extruders to ensure continuous operation
- Perform mixing, equipment setup, and accurate machine adjustments
- Maintain logs on temperatures, settings, and machine conditions
- Remove full spools and load empty ones on take-up equipment
- Inspect lines for roughness, correct diameter, elongation, and overall quality
- Monitor winding and tension levels on all spools
- Perform die, braid, color, and material changeovers
- Record material usage and scrap quantities
- Complete preventative maintenance on production equipment
- Disassemble and reassemble die packs as needed
What You Need to Bring to the Extrusion Operator Role
- High school diploma/GED OR 6–12 months related experience/training
- Strong mechanical aptitude with good hand dexterity and coordination
- Ability to follow recipes/data to produce quality monofilament
- Ability to handle 5–50 lb spools and move 200 lb containers using a barrel cart (with or without reasonable accommodations)
- Good judgment and focus on safety while maximizing production yield
