Job Description
Looking to trade your current position for a new opportunity? Doherty Staffing Solutions is currently partnering with a leading supplier in the complex assembly industry located in Mankato, MN. We work one-on-one with great candidates to help connect them with local employment opportunities. This company is hiring Assemblers to work on 1st shift, 7:30am-4:00pm, Monday through Friday. What an Assembler will do:

What an Assembler will do:
- Perform general assembly steps such as labeling, taping, masking, coating, assembly of components to boards, and other hand and machine operations
- Cut board assemblies out of panels using side cutters or other depanelizing equipment
- Use pliers, cutters, and small hand tools for various steps in board assembly
- Assemble circuit boards into finished products
- All other duties as assigned by your supervisor/manager
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior soldering experience preferred, but not required
- Trained in IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies preferred, but not required
- General knowledge of electronic components
- Ability to read and interpret drawings specifications and instructions
- General computer skills
- Willingness to cross-train into different positions as needed
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend the English language
- Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screening test and criminal background check
