Job Description
Take the next step in your career with this exciting opportunity! Doherty is currently partnering with a leader in the structural design industry located near Hanley Falls, MN. We are seeking candidates for a Drafter role to work regular day hours, Monday through Friday. Compensation for this direct hire opportunity ranges between $20.00-$24.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Interested?
What you will do as a Drafter:

What you will do as a Drafter:
- Draw detailed construction documents
- Verify client designs to meet performance requirements
- Review CAD models and drawings for completeness and accuracy
- Communicate with building and panel technical considerations effectively (orally and written) with clients, project managers, and engineers
- Analyze information available to determine and plan the best panel layout for the project
- Degree and/or experience in construction, engineering, architecture, or a commensurate field of experience is preferred
- 1+ year of drafting experience
- Technical experience in AutoCAD, Revit, and/or similar construction software is helpful
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and math aptitude
