What you’ll do as the Die Cast Operator:

What you’ll do as the Die Cast Operator:
- Ensure a safe work environment for self and others
- Follow all safety rules and regulations
- Ensure part quality is in accordance with inspection report
- Monitor the machine effectively
- Accurately complete reports and all necessary paperwork for the jobs
- Responsible for correct full box quantities and job counts
- Utilize the 5-S principles (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, and sustain) to maintain an orderly, clean and safe work area
- Actively participate in CIP events to improve the safety, quality, and efficiencies of our current processes and procedures
- Support and positively contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
- Communicate with the supervisor and co-workers in a professional manner
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Manufacturing experience preferred but not required
- Ability to use measuring instruments, such as gage pins, scales, etc.
- Ability to follow work instructions
- Must be detail oriented, with the ability to recognize defects and non-conformities
- Regular attendance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations
