Location: Monticello, MN
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
In partnership with Doherty Staffing Solutions, Polaris is seeking a Die Cast Repair Technician to join our team in Monticello, MN. This is a direct hire opportunity for a skilled technician who enjoys hands-on work and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
About the Role:As a Die Cast Repair Technician, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our die cast operations by preparing, maintaining, and repairing die cast molds and tooling. Your precision and problem-solving skills will help ensure production runs smoothly and safely.

About the Role:As a Die Cast Repair Technician, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our die cast operations by preparing, maintaining, and repairing die cast molds and tooling. Your precision and problem-solving skills will help ensure production runs smoothly and safely.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare die cast molds and tooling for production runs
- Diagnose and repair tooling issues, including replacing pins, cores, and components
- Perform routine maintenance on die cast molds
- Use calipers, micrometers, and gauges to inspect parts with precision
- Communicate tooling changes and repairs across shifts
- Support production teams with die cast equipment setup
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of machining or tool maintenance experience (or a 2-year Machine Tool Technology degree)
- Experience with CNC equipment and die cast machinery preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent troubleshooting skills
- Dependable team player with a proactive mindset
- Standing, walking, and manual dexterity required throughout the shift
- Regular lifting of up to 40 lbs
- Exposure to moderate noise and industrial chemicals (PPE provided)
