Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading powersports accessories manufacturer to hire a Development Technician for their Wyoming, MN location. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity working Monday through Friday with occasional local travel (<10%).As part of Apex Product Group—which includes the brands Kolpin Outdoors, Pro Armor, and Trail Tech—this role focuses on the development and testing of innovative accessories for the powersports industry. What You’ll Do:
- Fabricate and assemble concept and development accessories.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to provide design feedback and installation guidance.
- Conduct and support validation and performance testing, including data collection and analysis.
- Troubleshoot and resolve product issues to improve quality and functionality.
- Prepare accurate test reports and maintain organized project documentation.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
- Occasionally travel to evaluate and support product development efforts.
- High school diploma required; 2-year technical degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of mechanical or technician experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on fabrication and welding skills preferred.
- Familiarity with data acquisition and diagnostic tools.
- Basic computer skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate ORVs.
- Powersports and forklift experience a plus.
