About the Role:
Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading provider of premium desserts, in Le Center, MN. We are seeking candidates for Depanner positions on the 3rd shift. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced food production team!
Responsibilities:
- Depan products according to established standards (e.g., time and internal temperature)
- Organize products during cooling step to allow for FIFO (First In, First Out) depanning process
- Repair product defects prior to freezing step
- Monitor depanned product and notify supervisor, lead, or oven tender when issues arise
- Ensure racks are labeled properly with correct product information
- Learn and apply knowledge of lot dates to ensure proper processes
- Work with Value Stream Lead/Shift Manager to move and store depanned products in correct locations, including freezers
- Accurately record data and complete all required paperwork
- Serve as back-up to Oven Tender
- Assist on the line as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work area
- Participate in GFSI/FSSC22000 yearly audit and assist with procedures and corrective actions
- Uphold departmental processes and procedures
- Ensure quality, safety, and company standards are enforced at all times
- Conduct training for Deringers and delegate tasks for smooth product transitions
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 6 months to 1 year of related experience
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work independently
