What a Customer Service Representative will do:

What a Customer Service Representative will do:
- Place purchase orders and quotes for goods and services
- Obtain information from external and internal sources and evaluate orders for completeness and accuracy
- Handle both inbound and outbound communication with customers and vendors
- Identify and resolve sales related issues with products and orders in cooperation with the sales representatives or sales management team
- Take appropriate action to correct errors and implement changes in processes to stop errors from occurring
- Communicate knowledgeably with customers and outside sales representatives daily by phone or email with specifics on order status, quotes, lead times and ship dates
- Serve as liaison between customers, sales, and our other departments
- Experience navigating through multiple software systems
- Ability to work independently and know when to seek clarification and instruction
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to send complete and effective email responses within established timelines
- Excellent follow through skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Critical thinking skills with attention to detail
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
