About the Opportunity

Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a long‑standing service organization in St. Cloud, MN to hire a Customer Service Supervisor. In this leadership role, you’ll oversee daily team operations, mentor customer service staff, and ensure exceptional customer communication and follow‑through. This position is key to maintaining efficiency, improving service coordination, and supporting field technicians. What You’ll Do as a Customer Service Supervisor:
  • Supervise and mentor a team of customer service representatives to ensure high performance
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members to resolve issues and provide solutions
  • Oversee logistics related to statewide service operations (knowledge of MN required)
  • Negotiate with customers as needed while adhering to company policies
  • Analyze customer feedback and service metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Manage scheduling, workload distribution, performance evaluations, and overtime monitoring
  • Oversee invoicing, pulling permits, and preparing materials for service technicians
  • Lead training for new hires and ongoing development for existing staff
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance the customer experience
  • Foster a positive, team‑driven work environment

What You Need to Bring to the Customer Service Supervisor Role:
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Knowledge of business and management principles related to planning and resource allocation
  • At least 2 years of experience leading in a customer service environment
  • Strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English (read, write, speak)
  • Sales experience is a plus
  • Commitment to supporting the Mission and Vision of the organization
  • Ability to work on-site in St. Cloud, MN
