Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Machine Mill Operators for a leading manufacturing company in Crookston, MN. In this role, you’ll help maintain production equipment and ensure smooth operations in a clean, organized environment. What You’ll Do as a Machine Mill Operator:
- Maintain assigned work areas at a high level of cleanliness and organization
- Operate and maintain production line equipment when Operator II is absent
- Load and unload tandem trucks at elevators or storage sites
- Assist with training employees and learn Operator II responsibilities
- Monitor rolling stock and storage sites for accurate bin and grain handling status
- Bag 25–50 lb sunflower product continuously
- Complete all assigned paperwork accurately each day
- Promote communication between departments and maintain safety standards
What You Need to Bring to the Machine Mill Operator Role:
- High School diploma or GED
- Previous food industry experience
- Knowledge of GMP work environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations
- Proficiency in basic math and computer skills
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers (verbal and written)
- Working knowledge of equipment such as: Electronic Color Sorter, Gravities, Destoner, Electronic Scales, Package Filling Equipment, Sewing Machines, Computers
