Searching for a new CDL opportunity? Look no further! Hiring a Class A CDL Driver located in Wakefield, NE. The compensation for this direct hire opportunity ranges between $52K-$56K per year. This role will transport, deliver, and mix quality feed while keeping operations running smoothly. Hours are from 6am-4pm Monday- Friday. Interested? 
What you’ll do as a CDL Driver:
  • Travel within a two-hour radius
  • Verify the truck is legally loaded and not overweight.
  • Responsible for mixing feed rations according to instructions from the mill manager
  • Assign feed orders and deliveries to the proper bin location
  • Observe the mill for proper operations and ensure accurate inventory and records are kept
  • Maintain trucks and tractors, including major and minor repairs on equipment 
  • Adhere to safe work practices, follow SOPs, maintain sanitary conditions, and ensure that product quality is maintained
What you need to be a CDL Driver:
  • CDL Class A license 
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance manuals, and procedure documents
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively before groups, customers, vendors, or employees
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • No breathing disorders; ability to work in dusty environments
  • Ability to ascend and descend stairs and ladders, and climb up to 80 feet
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time
