Looking for a new opportunity? Don’t miss out on this role! We are seeking a CNC Programmer for our manufacturing site in Philadelphia, PA. Hours are 6am-4:30pm Monday- Thursday, and compensation for this direct hire opportunity is $75K-$80K annually. Interested?

What a CNC Programmer will do:    
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to create toolpaths and machining instructions
  • Accurately calculate dimensions and tolerances; perform layout and measurement of workpieces
  • Program, set up, and operate both manual and CNC machines for prototype and production runs
  • Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and production staff to improve machining methods and results
  • Inspect completed parts using precision instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and CMMs to ensure adherence to specifications
  • Adjust tooling and machine settings as necessary to meet complex design requirements and tight tolerances
  • Document machining procedures, inspection results, and production metrics to support continuous improvement initiatives

What you need to be a CNC Programmer:  
  • 3+ years of experience in CNC programming, and exposure to both manual and CNC machining environments
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency in G-code programming and CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidCAM, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of machining principles, cutting tools, feeds/speeds
