What You'll Do as the CNC Machinist:
- Review manufacturing drawings and job specifications prior to production.
- Set up CNC tables, tooling, fixtures, and programs according to job requirements.
- Operate CNC machines and secondary processing equipment to manufacture parts to specification.
- Perform machining operations such as routing, drilling, cutting, chamfering, and embossing.
- Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments to verify dimensions and quality.
- Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot minor mechanical or operational issues.
- Maintain tooling, jigs, fixtures, and equipment in proper working condition.
- Accurately record production data and ensure compliance with quality, efficiency, and safety standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior CNC machining or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and job specifications
- Proficiency using measuring tools and inspection equipment
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
- Basic computer skills for data entry and production recordkeeping
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to obtain certification to operate material handling equipment
