What You'll Do as a Brake Press Operator:
- Operate and set up press brake machines
- Produce parts according to specifications and blueprints
- Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and quality
- Maintain compliance with company safety standards
- Follow established quality control procedures
- Assist with material handling and production activities as needed
What You Need to Bring to the Brake Press Operator Role:
- 1+ year of press brake experience required
- Previous sheet metal industry experience preferred
- Ability to accurately use calipers, squares, protractors, and other measuring tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Must provide your own hand tools, including a protractor, square, dial caliper, tape measure, scribe, and dead blow hammer
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
